This a photo of a peaceful protester from the occupy wall street in Oakland that was captured and brutally beaten by police batons. They also threw tear gas into the location where the protesters were which causes the eyes to burn making it nearly impossible to see and hard to breath. Another method to get the protesters to leave they shot rubber bullets etc..
This photo is showing a lot about the police brutality. This is such a moving picture for your topic. If you were to show this to anyone I am sure you could get them on your side of the argument very easily.
